Kidlit Blog Hop #11 Post Office Book Review #2

Welcome to back to the Kid Lit Blog Hop #11

Well, to explain the title of this post, for anyone who didn't link in last hop, I have a confession. Sometimes I buy cheap books for Gigi from our local post office. They aren't exactly literary genius and occasionally the stories don't make any sense at all. Now that I am a permanent hostess on the hop, I was joking with Renee our illustrious CEO and master of all that is blog hop, that if we get desperate to make it to our target 100 links I may be forced to do a Post Office Book Review.

 So, don't say I didn't warn you.

You forced me to do this folks at 95 links

This one is pure literary genius, so genius in fact, it doesn't even have an authors name.LOL I will however preface this post with the fact that Gigi, LOVES, LOVES, LOVES this book.

A DAY AT THE PARK
BY ollie bollie BOOKS.
Hahoom, there is no website either, but I do know it was printed in China... so here we go, 5 scintillating pages.

I am not sure if you can read the text so summary: We played on the slide and the swings, we had fun.

We saw Johnny riding his bike, he was brave for riding a TWO WHEELER

Birds singing, butterflies zigging, ladybugs crawling

Ants stealing their lunch

Boys flying high in the skate park.

It was a great day at the park.

But wait, there is more. If you liked a day in the park, don't miss.
A day at the Beach
A day at the Circus and
A day at the farm.
I can only imagine the pearls of wisdom that they hold.

Ha hoom, so there you have it, Post Office Book Review #2.

Come on folks, I can taste 100 links, don't make me pull another one out of the post office box.

Catch you on the hop folks.

Welcome to the 11th Kid Lit Blog Hop. Last time, we were just 3 links short of an even 100! Let's see if we can hit that magic number once again. I know we can do it! There were so many links to fantastic posts about children's books, literacy, favorites lists. Lots of variety! I managed once again to visit every link, comment on every link (if possible), and tweet something from each participating blog or author. I am so excited for all the wonderful books and articles that were linked in the last Hop and once again, I look forward to hopping around through the links this week. A big thank you to everybody who linked into the last Hop and I hope you will join us all again this week. Enjoy the Hop!

Hostesses:
Our Co-Hostess for This Week:
2. Link up any Kid Lit related post. This can be a link to a children’s book review, a discussion about children’s literature/literacy, or a post on a recently-read children’s book or one that you love from your childhood.
* Don't link directly to your blog, it must be a specific post*
* For Authors, we prefer you to link to your blog if you have one *
* Make sure you include an image relevant to the POST (e.g., book cover), not your blog button or photo of yourself.*
* Feel free to link more than one post.*
3. Check out some other books. Don't be a stranger, go see what books other families are checking out, and leave them some love in the form of a comment. We are trying to build a community of bloggers, readers, parents, authors, and others who are as passionate about children’s literature as we are so please CONNECT and follow any or all of the blogs that interest you! 4. If you like, grab the button above and put it somewhere on your blog, preferably the post you're linking up. If you'd prefer, you can just add a text link back to this Hop so that others can find it and check out all these great book links! 5. It would really help us get the word out about the Kid Lit Blog Hop if you would be so kind as to tweet, share, and spread the word about the Hop!

  2. That is simply literary genius - I'll leave it to you to decide if I mean the book or your review or both! ;) I cannot believe that no one is insisting on claiming authorship of that fabulous beloved little book. That's just not right! lol
